HL AU but they're furries now
heyyyyy revamping some of my OCs from 2014-2019 and giving them fursonas lol
I'm gonna do this with a few of them I think
it's been a while since I got to play with these guys
man I wrote this comic for like 5 years
Zaris is a gay prince who is to be married to this siren woman as sort of an agreement with the people of the sea to stop eating people of the land- but Zaris is GAY and doesn't WANT to marry a super hot fish woman, and runs away, but it turns out SHE'S GAY TOO and they can make it work
BUUUUT plot twist she was actually sent to the surface to abduct the royals to bring home and eat because royalty is more of a delicacy than stinky pirates
but another plot twist, she doesn't WANT to do that because she's the youngest of 3 and they just gave her this throw away job bc she's not important enough in her family to make a difference, so they put her on food duty
and in her adventures on the surface, she's learned to love it
anyway there are like 8 billion characters and like 10 sub plots including a soul-ripping plague, big-brother-is-watching type secret mage government, pirates, orc politics (they think kindness is kinky and weird), a serial killer who's been turned into a shadow spirit and locked in somebody's body like a prison, a young fairy earns her wings and then like immediately dies, lifting curses, a human turned into a griffon makes a life for herself as a griffin and raises some chicks with another griffon who turns out to also be a guy who got turned into a griffon so their chicks have human intelligence
among probably several others I don't remember
I really loved this mess
and that was the main story but the biggest chunk of content for this series is an AU where they're all just hanging out and there's no plot going on
they went to an aquarium, I locked Gallance in an elevator a couple times, their car broke down on a road trip, I fuckin loved these guys
and I still do
which is why I'm paying with them again

You have some great ideas there. One thing that caught my eye was "Hi'storie's horned phonograph with the horn on the bottom. We have a late 1920's era "credenza" style phonograph with a built-in horn where the sound starts at the bottom and works its way out. "Volume control" is as simple as shutting he doors on the cabinet.
