So. I was thinking about story development and then this image popped into mind. Just James being very contemplative about his obsession, this includes him constantly playing cat and mouse with Gem to the point where he grows a strange emotional attachment to his enemy.
Bleh anyway. This was really fun to paint, and I learned a lot about painting clothing. It was a fun step forward.
I really need to draw James more, he's so fun to draw.
