An article was published about a medium-sized asteroid that was heading towards our planet Earth 2 days ago. We all were so lucky the asteroid didn’t hit us, instead it joined the orbit, making the asteroid our second moon. We called this “new moon” LU-002-NAR (Lutunar in short). Seeing two moons is such a weird view but we can get used to it.

The rain is our new default weather now, it rains for 5 weeks non-stop at this point. We all forgot how the outside looks without the rain covering the streets, parks and mountains. The government called this phenomenon “Rain Pandemic”. Kinda feels like we’re in 2020. But this rain is not normal, it has a silver hue and the drops are very long. Speculation says it’s caused by LU-002-NAR but we have no concrete evidence for it to be true.

This rain is just getting worse. Not only the raindrops got longer, they also got 2 mm wider. Scientists examined the drops and it turns out the rain has microscopic, sharp iron pieces in them. No one reported any injuries from the weather but for our sake we should avoid the rain as much as we can to keep ourselves safe.
November 8th 2048, 3 PM.
Further examinations show the raindrops changed their shape to be more sharp. Imagine a thin and long needle pointing down, that’s how they look. The shape change is caused by the iron pieces in them, which - by the time - got bigger, reaching 1 mm wide. Going outside is currently dangerous and we all are locked in our houses since the rain started piercing through thin materials. Raining speed is also faster than usual.

The rain finally stopped after a year and there is a regular drizzle we all knew from the beginning of the Earth. Everyone went outside to see how the world looks after this phenomenon, only to see that our moon and LU-002-NAR are very close and are about to hit each other. Everyone is panicking, no one knew this would happen. We all were so focused on the rain that we forgot the second moon existed.
It’s getting darker.
It’s getting colder.
You can hear an impact outside.
