Although Blackmask and Alasdair very rarely see eye-to-eye, one area they seem to get along is in music. Alasdair's a fairly accomplished guitarist, and Blackmask...well, she tries, bless her. With her crewmate's patient tuition, she should eventually get the hang of her axe (the ever-faithful Epiphone Evolution). In the meantime, though, she must resort to the André Previn defense in response to her critics - of which there seem to be quite a few.
(As a side-note, I looked up André Previn to check I'd spelt his name right, and it turns out he actually died six years ago, to this very day.)
