S15A is a subsection of this piece, which could also be viewed as an extended version of the other. I'm surprised by how the sitar fits the sound of this piece without fitting its theme in any noticeable way.
Myself on cello, the rest is synth. The toms on this were extremely hard to fix for some obscure reason.

is that a beagle or the shakuhachi you're talking about near the end? It has a very noticable looping point. The strings seem to have that MIDI-ish problem with cutting off and leaving "suspense" zones when they quiet down, but all in all it's not too noticable. The cello is excellent, of course.
I agree completely. In spite of it being the first time I'd ever used a tracker I felt like I was testing the limits of what ModPlug could reasonably do over the course of this project, there has to be a better way to strictly control these things other than adding long streams of effects to the end of every single note which requires it. Of course if I had samples which sounded as they should from the get-go then this wouldn't be a problem, but you get what you pay for. And thank you.
no problem. I didn't know you tracked this one. If you want, I can tell you how to get the strings to sustain better. The instrument has volume loops which if you dragged stuff in from a soundfont will sound like it cuts off too quick because mods don't have any natural reverb setting. If you leave the post-sustain volume envelope open-ended at the level you want it to fade off at, the automatic fade-out will occur if you have an IT format file. The speed of this can be tweaked by adjusting the FadeOut value (IIRC, a default value of 256-512 lasts a good couple seconds before fading out).
As for the beagle-thing, my best suggestion to keep it from sounding static is to add auto-vibrato in the sample settings. Though, it would probably be better to add manual vibrato during the more expressive holds in the song.
