Homemade Chocolate Muffins With Brown and White Sugar
Okay, this is my muffin recipe I've perfected since my culinary school days.

Preheat Oven: 350F
Dry Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 cups of chocolate chips
My method is blending my dry ingredients before adding my wet ingredients (though some muffin recipes will say otherwise). Don't add your chocolate chips until just before adding your wet ingredients.
[u]Wet Ingredients[/b]
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup of melted butter (suggestion is to melt this a head of time)
1 cup of milk
Mix these ingredients with the dry mixture, add your chocolate chips, and mix until well incorporated. Place these in your oven for about 17 minutes, and once they're done sprinkle a little brown and white sugar on top.
