Name: Carl

Species: King Cobra

Gender/Pronouns: Cisgender Male

Age: 25 (in human years)

Likes: Jasmine tea, the sound of wind chimes, classical or traditional music (although he enjoys other music genres as well), and of course, his beloved mate Izzy and her hugs (even if she’s squeezing a bit tight).

Dislikes: Anything bad happening to Izzy, being asked to spit venom (he's not a spitting cobra), and he also hates being asked what's up with those orange markings on his hood.

Hobbies: Painting, doing yoga, and finally making his own ASMRs.

Personality:
Carl is the calm and level-headed counterpart to his mate, Izzy, the Green Anaconda, who is typically highly excitable and joyful. He plays the role of the straight man in their relationship.

Carl speaks in a smooth, soothing manner, and even though some of his word choices might make him sound like a surfer dude, his speech is so calming that he could read a phone book and make it sound like the best ASMR experience you've ever had.

The funny part is that he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it; he just thinks it's strange that others become relaxed and shivery when he speaks, even if he's discussing a less-than-positive subject.

Of course, eventually he found out, but that was only until he first met Izzy, which was pretty easy for him to notice—a hyperactive serpent suddenly calming down.

However, when Carl becomes extremely angry—usually because someone has seriously insulted Izzy—it’s best to keep your distance; his venom can be quite potent, even by other king cobra standards.
