Decided it was finally time to draw MUB a proper ref, and in addition give him a bit of a redesign! Took away all the spots he had, added crocodile teeth, tentacles on his back, and an actual belly scale pattern.

Appearance: He has red eyes and the upper body of a fat dark purple anthro dragon or lizard, with his lower body consisting of eight massive scaly tentacles. He also has four smaller tentacles on his back. He usually has a giant sentient mouth on his belly, but sometimes does not.
Likes: Snuggling, playing with, and devouring humans, darkness.

Powers
Belly Maw - MUB's belly has its own mouth, mind, and personality, allowing it to eat, think, and speak independently of MUB himself. Being a belly, it really only thinks and talks about eating. The belly maw can disappear and reappear at will.
Tentacles - MUB has a set of eight large scaly tentacles that he can control as he wishes, able to grow and stretch, as well as four additional tentacles on his back.
Space Manipulation - MUB is able to manipulate space to a certain degree. In the real world, he can only manipulate the space within a single room. He can also manipulate the space within his belly to make the inside function like a hammer-space, allowing his belly to swallow as many prey as he wants.
Nightmare Realm - MUB has his own personal world called the Nightmare Realm. Meant to be used to terrorize prey, MUB can style it however he wants, making it take on a variety of settings.
Sleep Gas - MUB can belch a dark purple gas from both maws that will make his prey relaxed and sleepy when they inhale it.

Personality: MUB's name is an acronym for "Monster Under the Bed,", but despite being a scary-looking monster, MUB is actually quite friendly. Monsters are beasts that terrify and torment their prey before feasting, but unlike most monsters, MUB doesn't particularly enjoy scaring people, preferring to make friends with his prey instead. Being a monster and all, doing this is hard for him, but he tries to be as gentle and careful as possible when meeting and handling people. Nick is the first human MUB successfully befriended, and as such is his best friend. Since then MUB has managed to befriend several other prey creatures. MUB will often visit his friends at night to snuggle, and pull them into his Nightmare Realm to play. MUB's favorite game is hide and seek, and while his prey friends go and hide in his realm, MUB will pretend to be like other monsters, playfully hunting them down to gobble them up with his hungry belly. However, he only plays this if his prey friends won't actually be scared. MUB is weak to sunlight, so he never appears during the day. Other light sources he can handle however, depending on how strong they are.

MUB's Belly: MUB's belly quite literally has a mind of it's own. While there are often times where it's just a large round belly, when snuggle time is coming to an end and play/eating time begins, a large mouth will appear on it, wearing a constant toothy grin. MUB's own belly, while it does mostly listen to MUB, is capable of acting independently. Being a stomach, MUB's belly thinks only of eating, and will eagerly lick at and tease prey until MUB allows it to feast. However, despite really only caring about eating people, MUB's belly maw is rather gentle and will never really chew on prey. In fact if the prey is someone that MUB has befriended, the belly will view that prey as somewhat of a friend as well, and will at times like having that person sleep on it's tongue. MUB's stomach is like a hammer-space. As soon as the belly maw swallows a prey, that person is sent to a spacious squishy room of slimy flesh that is MUB's actual stomach, which never digests prey. Through the belly maw, MUB's belly is capable of speaking. It will speak in a deep male voice, but will only say things in regards to eating people, including trying to coax prey to crawl inside.
