Slightly belated but happy 8th anniversary to Sad Bug Game!
Can't believe it's been this long already, and that I've been part of six of those years now, even if I didn't manage to draw something for each of em. The anniversary just has a tendency to sneak up on me every dang time.

This year's drawing is a bit different as it's basically a redraw of the opening cutscene, but I had a good reason for it. I've actually been replaying the game recently with my housemate, it's the first time I've played it in five years and it's been quite an experience. Like being so convinced you get to the City of Tears wayyyy sooner than you actually do lol. But in general it's been great revisiting this fantastic game and remembering once again all the many reasons why it captured me so. It was and still is a deeply lifechanging experience.

And I know it is a journey I will embark on many more times.
