Three strikes and I'm out of lab duty. I hate to admit it, but it's probably for the best... The flasks are too big to hold now, and I can't afford to lose any more height!
(Octransfur Day 29 - Trouble. Yes, I did do Pichu two pictures in a row. Does this mean anything? Maybe. Please don't ask ^^;)

Mato, sensing the now-familiar feeling of panic from his former supervisor, sighed. "Again?"
The Pichu looked up at him, surrounded by a puddle of mysterious liquid, a broken beaker, and a scientist's coat that was now several sizes too big for him. "I-it's not what it looks like!"
"It looks pretty similar to the last two times. Maybe you're just not cut out for lab work."
Chris squeaked, "B-but... I really like this job!"
"Don't worry," said the freshly-promoted Lucario. "I have an ideal position for someone with your... history." And he wrote down "Lab Mascot" as his suggestion for the ex-human's third reassignment.
