In fairness, why would Spunky's Mama think you needed to instruct someone not to taunt an empty bottle unless you were trying to trick them into doing exactly that? And why didn't Mama give some useful context about why one should be cautious about taunting empty bottles? But you know Spunky's Mama was surprised because she's almost awake.
Anyway now this secret is out I bet we're going to see so many empty-bottle-taunters. Ah well. Can't guarantee this will happen to you too.
Using the luminous-pen for Spunky's naming ``Mama'' is lifted from a genie picture commissioned elsewhere, where the word ``master'' has this charge to it. But it felt off for Spunky to call his mother ``master'' even if she now gets to be. Does making it ``Mama'' make matters better? Worse? Literally no way to know.
I like the hands-nervously-held-in-pouch pose and need to learn how to do it right.

Afraid not; I discovered him while looking through public-domain funny-animal comic books. But he gets into such wonderful adventures, like in https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=76353 (from page 11), where he has a mishap with the dentist's gas tanks, or https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=34487 (from page 37), where he enters the Land of You-Are-What-You-Eat, which make it so easy for me to start giving him new transformations.
I can't rightly claim him to be my own original character, but he is someone anyone can use to tell make their own stories and he is an awfully good character to have stuff happen to. And I've been doing more with him than ... probably anyone since 1955?

Glad to share this with you! There are a lot of wonderful comics out there, waiting for rediscovery and reuse.
There are also a lot of awful ones, though, either shoddily made or racist or sexist so please do be cautious. But then you discover, like, animator Ken Hultgren doing a cat-and-mouse comic story that's just well-paced and full of poses worth copying and learning from.
