UNREAL ART from
URItsuyo I cannot thank her enough for this piece, I couldn't be happier, more proud and grateful about it.
The character depicted belongs to me
Where some might just see a pile of pop culture bits and pieces, I see something else entirely. Gifts from those who aren’t here anymore, mementos of laughter with old friends, tokens from people I’ve drifted away from; and pieces from those who are still here, sharing moments and conversations with me today. Every item holds its own story, whether it comes from days long gone or from memories still being made. Some of these treasures never fail to pull out a smile or a wave of nostalgia when I glance their way or dust them off. Not heavy, not sad; just that cozy warmth of knowing where you’ve been, and feeling grateful for where you are now.
But this isn’t a shrine; it’s home. A space that breathes with me. A place where I’ll sit; sometimes lost in thought, sometimes in boredom, sometimes caught in moments of pure joy. The shelves tell stories, but they’re also just there, like the music that hums softly in the background; always present, always comforting. There’s still space to fill, more memories waiting to be made, more laughter to share, more connections to forge and cherish. Time keeps moving, and so will I, piece by piece.
Recognize anything on these shelves? Maybe something that speaks to you too? What would be on your own shelf; the items that hold your laughter, your memories, your adventures?
