Nice touch that Rask has the prey fear eyes when first seeing Swift and Oren being the zen one to coordinate.
Rask instantly knowing how to deescalate the situation just shows that he is the perfect mediator here. He knows that any predator is mainly ruled by hunger and the fear to starve. So food will halt that instinct to better talk. Of course unbeknown to him, as only Hemlock has that knowledge, is that Swift mainly is searching for food to help her pups (and get behind that mystery of the rabbit killing a wolf aka the madness in these woods).
And on that note next pages will be very interesting for sure. Cause if this goes well in the start there will be a lot of talks and Hemlock will come up in those. The reaction from both Rask and Oren when they learn that she spared defenseless wolf pups might also be a huge dynamic for possible coexistence. But only time can tell how this further unfolds and I am certainly on the front of my seat to see it.
