The VN style story will come with custom illustrations so I have decided to have the characters designed first ^^
Maria is one of the few survivors of the unknown tragedy that was inflicted upon the Midgard Island.
The people of the mainland are taught that a meteor crashed onto the island, obliterating all native people who lived there, although Maria has only ever heard that story from the people who come from Unchantis, specifically Ezin.
As a descendent from the ancient family that first settled on the island, she vows to welcome all adventurers with a friendly smile and an open heart when they come to visit.
However, she harbours a deep sadness knowing that many of them lie victim to the voices that ring out across the island at night, which send the adventurers insane.
Her family's house is situated the bottom of a mountain. Just outside her house, is the island's cape, where the wind blows the strongest.
Despite such fierce winds amongst the island, Maria somehow makes her deliveries from the mainland on foot, unscathed, each and every day. Ezin sometimes wonders how she is able to achieve such a feat. But then he realises: the key to uncovering the truth of the island may well be in front of him.
