I am of Semitic, Celtic, Germanic and Slavic ancestry. I’m even related to Middle Eastern and European royalty, but not close enough to get any financial benefits from it. My father is Jewish, German and English. While my mother is Irish, Scottish and French. Her family “Boyd” is represented by an aggressive squirrel as seen in the family crest. My Dad’s family name “Perlmutter” which is Yiddish for “Mother of Pearl” is reference to my ancestors who harvested pearls of the seashore. My mother works with butterflies in a lab at a museum. My father loves rock music, especially punk and metal.
