Rosemary
Interestingly, in the new botanical classification it has been renamed:
Salvia rosmarinus
However, honestly I didn't like it very much, so I prefer to call it by its old name

Interesting that it has been renamed fairly recently.
A bit of a similar thing happened here too, or at the very least, almost.
There's a committee here that once suggested renaming chipmunks (Tamias)
in the Finnish language after Chip and Dale from the Disney cartoons.

I understand, after all certain types of changes are not always welcome, for example I continue to use the old scientific name "Rosmarinus officinalis" Which had been given by Linneo The new name "Salvia rosmarinus" I never liked it from the first time I heard it, maybe because I felt like there was something wrong with it.
Exactly. And there's also the question why there's a need to change
the scientific name in the first place. Because what's the point to do so
without any reason whatsover, if the old name has already become a standard.
Besides, a good amount of scientific names for plants can be traced back to
Carl von Linné, just like that of rosemary.
I certainly understand if people view these kind of changes
(also on things other than scientific names) as sacrilege.
