There are multiple factors going in to why people don't recognize Clark, its not just the glasses. Part of it is how he carries himself in both personas, and part of it is that Superman is one of the rare heroes with a secret identity... who doesn't hid his face. People don't expect him to actually be hiding among them, so they over look Clark.

This is something that happens in real life. I believe it was Christopher Reeves who was not recognized when he went out in public dressed as Clark vs dressed as Superman when shooting the movies. People have a blindness towards this type of thing. You put a person on a pedastol, and you don't expect to see them stanfding right next to you.
