College Life
"Coming!"
A knock had come to Bumi's door early that morning. The big Tyranitar didn't have many guests visiting his place, so he could already make a guess at who it is.
Surely enough, he opened the door to see a smaller, lime-chartreuse Tyranitar staring up at him. The moment the door opened, he stepped forward and embraced Bumi. This had been quite a typical occurrence for the viridian Tyranitar.
"Hey Pascal, it's wonderful to see you again!" Bumi patted his old friend on the shoulder as he continued to be hugged by the smaller Tyranitar.
I still remember meeting him like it was yesterday. It was on his birthday, funnily enough. April 2, 2023. He was a little different back then. Much brighter, more sure of himself. And he'd put on so much weight since then, of course. He wasn't even 700, and now he's well over 1200. Not that I mind that, of course.
Despite my time at college; or maybe because of it, I don't know; I find myself retreating back to him so often. He's trustworthy, comforting. Like a friend, but, closer. Maybe not like a partner, no, but I long for him regularly despite that. Man, what has my time here done to me?
Pascal lounged on the sofa, staring blankly into space. Bumi came over with the prepared latte, sitting down next to his friend.
"So... you feeling okay? Anything special happening? For better or for worse?"
As Bumi sat, the sofa beneath him sunk further and further until the cushions were practically flat. He took up nearly half of it, despite it being fit for a family. His truly enormous belly hung only barely over the ground.
Pascal, sitting next to Bumi, took a sip of the latte, then rest his head on the jade beast's gut. He then began to lazily massage and rub said belly as he breathed a hefty sigh.
"It's just... college life, is all." Pascal continued to look on, his eyes half open. "I don't know what to make of it anymore. I feel... well, I feel miserable half the time anymore. And lonely. Very, very lonely at times."
Pascal gazed up into Bumi's magenta eyes.
"I know, really insignificant problems, huh? It's my last semester here and yet I feel depressed. What perfect timing." He chuckled ever so slightly.
"Hey, it's okay. Sure, your problems may seem small, but they're still problems at the end of the day. And I'll always be here to help you however you need it, you know..."
Bumi shifted a little in his seat, then began to massage the smaller Tyranitar's shoulders.
"Mmmm, god I need that hahaha!" Pascal lays back further as he continues to gaze into the large jade beast's eyes.
"I... I love you, you know that?" Pascal blushed deeply. "You... really help me so much, so often. It's as though your presence alone is always enough to calm me down, make me feel happy again, even when I'm feeling down.
"Pascal, I love you too, you know that hehe."
Bumi then kisses Pascal on his forehead, and the two continue to gaze for a little longer.
"Hey, you wanna watch something with me?" Bumi suddenly asks, breaking his gaze.
"O-oh! Sure! I'd love to actually." Pascal stuttered, suddenly sitting up.
"Alright then, let's get to it." Bumi stared off, a smile on his face.
The two put on a movie, and as the night goes on, Pascal slowly leans closer and closer towards Bumi, until his head once again rested atop the large, squishy gut of the viridian giant.
