Possibly due to the peacocks in Kung Fu Panda 2, definitely partly thanks to listening to an Arabic-inspired fusion jazz album, I wanted to draw a buraq. They seemed like appropriate high-level paladin mounts.

Love it.
Arabic inspired fusion jazz?
Wait.
This wouldn't be Anne Dudley & Jaz Coleman would it?

Your title immediately made me think of it. :)
I swear I'm starting to wonder if our music collections share some kind of weird space-time linkage.

I don't actually own the album, but some of the songs showed up on the Thursday Arabic/North African music program on the college station, and since then, I've been listening to every track posted on YouTube. It's beautifully evocative, like the "soundtrack" to a totally brilliant Call of Cthulhu game.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_.....ictorious_City is a seriously kickass album - check it out on YouTube, it's worth the time.
