Band practice can take a lot out of you. It takes a lot of concentration and energy to work towards the results you want.
Sometimes once you're done for the day, you realize it's taken a lot more than you thought, and in Greggs case here, he was starving.
(Un)fortunately for Mae, Snack Falcon was a little to far of a walk, and she just happened to be the last one sticking around by the time Gregg started thinking with his gut more than his brain.
Chomping down head first, he started guzzling her down, flipping her up in the air once he got to her legs.
There was a bit of hope for her when Bea unexpectedly returned, but she was too exhausted to really care too much about what was going on, and left Gregg to his meal.
A stroke of luck for Gregg, and a disappointing turn of events for the cat whose tail and feet were the only parts still outside Greggs gullet.
The responsibility of finding a new bassist will likely fall on his shoulders, hopefully he finds one that's less appetizing...
On the other hand, this is one of the best meals he's had in a while... If Bea was okay with Mae winding up as fox food, she probably wouldn't care if the next few bassists also vanished down his throat.
Y'know... I wonder if Bea would want to "hang out" after next practice...
