While nobody really knows what Grove is, most would be hard-pressed to describe him as anything but a gentle, curious soul. A guardian, if you would. Famous for his overwhelming friendliness and willingness to help any and all those who accept Gadean Valley as their home, requesting only a tale, short or long, as payment for his help. After all, for a being born from the spring-bound roots of this valley, just as bound to Gadean itself as the moon is bound to the sky, a chance to learn of the world outside his idyllic stead is a gift unparalleled.

So be sure to say hi to him when he comes around during his usual strolls, carrying with him a book to recount wondrous tales of impossible worlds to any who’d hear. Maybe even offer him some treats for the show? Oranges are his favorites… But don’t feel pressured to do so, for Grove enjoys the simple act of storytelling more than anything else in this world.

And maybe you’d like to hear one of his tales now? He surely wouldn’t mind narrating them to you, all you have to do is sit down and enjoy the story.
