"When the wild winds blow and the moons shine down , the Blood of the Pack and hunters past runs in my veins. The Hunt begins afresh"
Faebruary: I am very excited to share this monthlong project with you all! Regular viewers of this channel will know that a lot of my creative focus goes into Kroashent, my ongoing fantasy series. There's a ton of background lore for the series, so I thought it might be fun and helpful to run a little project to introduce to viewers new and old, to the characters and creatures of Kroashent, with a twist!
For the month of February (or rather "Faebruary!" I will be posting drawings of the characters of Kroashent as different creatures from Alvez, their world. To begin, these creatures will be the "Tuath", the sapient, social creatures of the world (think the playable species of D&D). (We'll address the beasties and things that go bump in the night in a future project)
Ghyslaine: The "Mad Mage" of the Marie-Morgane, Ghyslaine is a similherez, a powerful spellcaster. Unlike many of her sisters, Ghyslaine sought out the Daughters of Ys to join them specifically. Serving as the chief mage of Ys-Beneath-the-Waves, her magic has proven invaluable to Queen Ahes.
Garwaf: While not a true Tuath in their own right, the fearsome Garwaf have risen to notoriety in Alvez, a powerful curse transforming ordinary individuals into bloodthirsty monsters. The spell is drawn from an infernal pact of an ancient warlord and an eldritch power of the Wylds. Garwaf are cursed via powerful magical artifacts, allowing them to spread far beyond their original location.

Val's Notes: When I rolled to see who the next character would be, ended up with Ghyslaine as a garwaf, which seemed oddly fitting. Ghyslaine served as the "wizard" of the original Marie-Morgane mermay series, and is a powerful ally of the merfolk. In Kroashent, the Garwaf and the Marie-Morgane are often at odds, due to an ancient grudge, the origins of which are lost to time. Having her "switch sides" seemed like an interesting dynamic!
