Behold! :D The proper new anthro Marvai look. <3 There was a piece of art of a gray lizard which I absolutely adore, but I don't know the artist - the image had a watermark for someone named "Grenin" as well as a signature I couldn't read, but try as I might, I couldn't find the original artist to give credit.  Nomris was kind enough to, once again, deal with me being full of uncertainty while exploring it, he made some cleaned-up line art of the original sketch to get a feel for what I liked, made a ton of adjustments to almost every aspect of it as I tried to understand what "clicked" with me, he explored what felt right for me, added shading, lots of stuff, and this is the result!

My original Marvai anthro reference I was never quite happy with, it just didn't quite feel fitting to what I felt, what I look like. The feral reference helped a LOT with finding what really feels correct~ And now this image represents the, in my opinion, perfect combination of everything I felt was missing in earlier representations. <3 Anthro, but digitigrade legs in a way I like and haunches that look natural, the overall body shape and design and all, a draconic yet smooth head shape, sleek yet large and capable wings that have a little more sense to them than the feral sheet's original design (took me FOREVER to figure out how I wanted the wings to look bone-structure-wise hahaha).

I've stared at the in-progress images of this for hours, and I'm gonna be staring at this one for more hours to come. <3 Maybe at some point in the future if Nomris is up for it I'll see about a full ref sheet of this, or otherwise I'd need to find another artist willing to turn this into a full ref sheet... finding juuust the right art style and commission availability is always a challenge though haha. But that's for the future. For now, I am ecstatic with this. <3
