The email I got said this (I though it was spam at first ToT ):
"We strive to provide our customers with seamless and user-friendly payments solutions. Unfortunately, sometimes we can't process activity for a variety of reasons, including local laws, our policies, or the policies of our partner banks and card networks.
In this case, we need some info about how your business fulfills orders by 3 April 2025. As soon as we receive it, we'll work quickly to let you know whether we can continue to process your account activity.
How long will it take?
We'll contact you within 3 day(s) with the outcome of the review and any next steps.
What can I currently do with my account?
During the review, we try to keep as many of your account features available as we can, but the following features are temporarily unavailable. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
-Send money
-Withdraw money
If we don't hear from you by 3 April 2025, we may need to make additional features unavailable."

Yeah my first thought would be "OH no this is a scam", but if you've logged into your paypal and noticed that it's limited then yeah, something got flagged.
As for proof of transactions, I would forward any invoice emails you've made as proof. If they need to see "proof of product" then any SFW artwork would be acceptable. Copies of invoices that have no open disputes on them should definitely show that you are doing honest business.
As for "Business License" If you live in the US and only work for yourself, a Business license really shouldn't be necessary as you would count as A Sole Proprietor, but you'd have to use your real legal name in transactions. You could always try registering a fictitious name or acquiring a DBA (Doing Business As) registration card. The rules and fees for which are State dependent. If you live outside the US, then I'm afraid I'm no help here @_@
Honestly it looks like you're doing your due diligence and I hope you get it resolved quickly. I hate how paypal will just do this with barely any explanation causing un-necessary stress and anxiety. I wish they could make it easier for you to actually call a real person and resolve the issue over the phone. If there is any way to reach out and speak to an actual person from Paypal Customer Service I would definitely attempt that if you haven't already.

Thank you so much! ;;
I haven't had a dispute on years and is weird Paypal got me now, I believe is because I had three ABs in adopts which is weird this happens because they usually sell cheap and maybe the unusual amount of money did some alert, at least I wanna believe that was the issue because I can't find another reason TvT
Thank you so much! I sent as much proof as I could, I am not from US so I am not very sure about the Business License because here in MΓ©xico there are much control with freelancers (unless they are freelancers working for corporations).
thanks a lot again, I will be waiting 3 days and keep all updated or I will be changing payment options, which in my country there aren't a lot TvT

You are very welcome. And yes it's possible that seeing several large transactions all at once that doesn't fit your normal pattern of business may result in a red flag. In which case this is an annoying but harmless technical hurdle paypal is making you jump through.
I fee like you'll get everything resolved very quickly <3

To warn you, and I warn *everyone I can see* with problems with PayPal, PayPal explicitly ban using their platform for "items that are considered obscene" and in their acceptable-use policy state you need pre-approval from them you can sell Mature Content, described as "Any adult content delivered digitally including video on demand (VOD) and web-cam activities. PayPal may be restricted from processing payments in certain jurisdictions for adult DVDβs, magazines and other adult themed products or services."
As I understand it, PayPal can fine you for breaching these terms, though it no longer makes mention of this in their T+Cs - it certainly used to.
I would strongly advise against providing them with any details regarding adult work, examples thereof, or conversations relating to it.
I moved away from PayPal for processing payments, because I had a chargeback from a fraudulent credit card payment for something I drew which caused an investigation against my PayPal. Scared the crap outta me. I dunno what there is in Mexico, sadly, but I use a payment platform called Square. It only supports card payment though, which is a limiting factor for some.
