Gloutters are squat, medium-sized amphibious reptiles that inhabit swamplands and large forests. Like most herbivorous creatures that lack imposing size, the average gloutter would rather flee than fight.
A hunter must be agile in order to catch one of these slippery beasts while they lurk in the water, as they're much quicker there than on land.
Gloutters are coveted for their juicy, fatty meat. And though not as popular as chicken or raptigor eggs, a gloutter's nest is also quite a find.
