Manaphy has the power to easily bond with any Pokemon. This one decided to abuse that to convince a Teddiursa to make him a ton of cookies! How could you say no to such a great friend after all!
I wanted to draw a fat manaphy and got this idea from looking at its pokedex entry. The idea of him being able to easily bond with any Pokemon and taking advantage of it to get someone to make him lots of food seemed like a fun idea. I went with Teddiursa for the other Pokemon simply because he seemed fun to draw.
