Gorgeous artwork, i am a big fan of monsters, and I think this one could use a long tongue to really bring it's open maw to life. I would connect it at the back of the throat instead of the bottom like humans, so it has a floppy look.

Almost, since host man is an artist, she uses his stuff to draw magic symbols to kick demons, yes. Well and kick them physically first, with legs and tail.

I want keep minimum magic in their world, that it wouldn't be next Marvel or Potter. Heroes should fight and suffer.
