This is Amy Bloomberg, another important character in my novel. This 2nd grade student is less shy than her best friend Zoey and more sociable, but doesn't feel comfortable in a crowd. When she arrives in Nyika, she unexpectedly gets the chance to become part of a group. Amy quickly makes friends with Jordan, who, like her, is a great animal lover. After her transformation into a ladybug, Amy, already rather small, shrank a little bit, making her the smallest member of the traveling group. Unlike her friend Zoey, Amy wants to see and learn more from the world of Nyika. However, she is also afraid of leaving Zoey behind or getting in the line of fire. Instead of fighting, Amy would rather use her elemental powers for the good of others. She wants to be a vet when she grows up. Amy has arachnophobia.
