Hot dog was this a easy render…well that’s until I wasted about a whole day trying to figure out how to add pressure and squish to Sam’s suckler paws to add in that “pressed in” effect to Max.
Alas, even after a bought an asset library that is meant to add “squish” to any and all meshes for around $5. I still couldn’t figure out how to apply it to Sam’s model. So for the time being, to continue being consistent with uploads I gave up on it.
I know people will say “but- but you could just add a soft body modifier” and boy let me tell ya how many times I tried that, and Max was still clipping into Sam’s sole without any soft collision detection at all.
So I’ve thrown in the towel on this one (for now). But who knows, maybe I’ll remaster it one day on nice figured out truly how soft body modifiers work in blender and somehow get it to work in real time and static time also.
