Her patience is somewhat short and doesn't tolerate anyone getting in her way. Gailica - Warm and kind as a Pecha Berry, Gailica is sweet on just about everyone she meets, but ever curious about the world at large. She does have a bit of a temper against those with egos big enough to hurt others in life, however.
Likes: Flaris - Running her business, messing with others, and creating sweets(actually baking or transforming others into sweets). Gailica - Trying & reviewing new foods, exploring new areas, and berries.
Dislikes: Flaris - Losing to any rival baker, a plan falling apart, and very picky guests. Gailica - Supressing inner emotions, sour foods, and REDACTED. Both - Arguing with the other spirit.
Biography
Hailing from a layer Pride of Inferno, Flaris had a lofty upbringing in life to be a talented baker by any means necessary. This Alcremie gained the ability - over time - to transform others into decadent cakes at will, making her an enemy one shouldn't cross so foolishly. She spent most of her life in Inferno(or Hell, to be specific) before taking her dreams of baking up to the surface, but she given how little she connected with others in her life, she had to find someone worthy of being a second hand. She journeyed through several towns and camps in search of someone she can actually trust, but after months of traveling, she came across a town known for strong warriors. Only to find one wanting more than mere glory in some arena - a Blaziken of ancient descent named Marvis. The two became acquainted with one another over the course of a week and in that time, Flaris found just who she was looking for in helping to run a business. And through Marvis, she found just the right place to set up shop - the city of Nasurah, a bustling city full of various folks and businesses that would get the most out of these two. With the info given to her, it was decided. The two eventually made their way out of the town Marvis lived in and headed right for Nasurah, teaching Marvis what he needed to know along the road to their business in baking to really prepare him for what lies in store.
The pair spent a good 5 years in business together at their bakery simply named "Sinful Delights", managing to make a living for themselves. However, up to that point, they never had anyone really challenge them in terms of what they sold and could be done...until along came a peculiar Delphox/Zoroark hybrid by the name of Amber Fuxion. In the last few months, they slowly took notice how much of their business was being sapped and attention focused more on Amber's vendor set up around the fountain plaza. This upsetted Flaris and wanted this Delroark to be dealt with, in which Marvis had a devious plan to have someone make fake reviews about her goods. And given Amber's lack of online knowledge at the time, it took her a bit to fully realize what was going on. Flaris had to thank Marvis for his ingenious plan to help keep their business going, knowing she picked the right person for the job. However, things escalated quickly after Flaris attempted to taunt Amber in public, only making herself look bad and would later lead to her own demise. Flaris barely speaks of one thing and that's her disdain for hybrids in general, thinking of them being unnatural and upsetting the balance of things in the world. Oh how wrong she is...and how things would twist against her.
After spending the better part of a year recovering her body through bits of cream being added to a jar her treat was in, she regained enough of her body to see what could be done about this situation. A now softened Marvis did offer an idea that sounded ridiculous as a whole - to have Amber work with them and help them further manage the bakery. She was against it seeing as Amber devoured her and barely left anything left of her former self outside of the aforementioned Star Sweet Flaris normally had throughout her life. She had something in mind instead, an idea she kept secret from Marvis - to visit the forest and find a soul or several to reform her body. She remembers that souls can offer a myriad of benefits to a demon including but not limited to growing their strength, steeling their own spirit, and perhaps regain her body. It was barely holding on after Marvis gathered enough heavy cream throughout the bakery and letting it sit for long enough for her boss to return. No normal cream will do for her, hence why she set out one late night and happened to stumble across a spirit that was desperate for help. They had a Southern tone, asking for any sort of assistance, but Flaris didn't pay her much mind at first given their desperation...until they mentioned something about their body still being fresh. Seeing this as an opportunity only for herself, Flaris decides to indulge the lost soul and see what they're talking about. Only to soon discover a murder scene that just happened not too long ago. This bewildered Flaris as this normally doesn't happen around Nasurah - at least from her perspective - but nonetheless, she quickly came up with a plan that would only benefit her originally and that is to summon another demon or stronger spirit to help in a revival ritual. Flaris alone wasn't strong enough to pull something like that off, but the spirit they summoned was an odd Marshadow by the name of Lefarno, who - after a bit of discussion - decided to help both her and the spirit revive this body. With a handshake binding the agreement of the 3, both the spirit and Flaris lost consciousness immediately, letting the Marshadow do as they please with their souls for a short time.
By the next morning, Flaris reawakened to find herself feeling renewed and full of life once more, but something was amiss. She found herself with details of a Cinderace all around her body and appearing quite plump all around, something she definitely isn't accustomed to and disliked immediately. Although, that was the least of her problems as she hears the spirit she met last night in her head, as if it was apart of her. And that's when she noticed a note left by the Marshadow, which left her and the spirit in shock. While both Flaris and the spirit were brought back to life, he hadn't told them the drawback to this agreement: They have to share the same body so long as they live. This infuriated Flaris, not knowing she would be duped into dealing with someone she has no idea of and has to manage the same body with them. And given her own demonic presence flows through this body, it'll be a long time before she is rid of this spirit for good. The spirit, now knowing she's stuck like this, has no choice but to get along with Flaris. Properly introducing herself at this point, the spirit is known as Gailica, a "foodie" in her former life who loved to eat and let everyone know her thoughts up until someone murdered her. Her memories are still fuzzy overall, but Gail is gonna do what she can to make their lives go smooth as possible...even if did occasionally annoy Flaris. The former Alcremie was now a hybrid and had to share a body with a tomboy of a soul. Surely this didn't get worse for her, she thought. About that...
Jumping to today, Amber now works alongside Flaris and Marvis at the bakery, much to Flaris' dismay, but Gailica did threaten to end the contract, something that was also detailed in the note left for them that if either of them wishes to end their agreement and go back to how they were prior to it all, they may. The two souls occasionally bicker and argue, but have to keep it together in public to avoid any suspicion drawed towards them. After all, no one knew Flaris was really alive after what Amber did to her, so she has to use Gail's name in place of her own when in public. Her business is now riskier than ever in her eyes, but Gail reassures her things will be fine so long as she keeps her cool, which is hard to do as is when there's another soul awake and having something to say at all times. Regardless, this has become her life and she has to contend with it. She does question where Lefarno is nowadays, given that this was roughly 4 years ago now that she and Gail came to be together in this body. She barely hears from him and hopes they didn't bite the dust or worst. That would complicate matters, but not as complicated as steering through life with one hybrid guiding the company forward.
