a corny interpretation of Minto from Shining Force: Final Conflict, who does not ever actually do this in the game, but does engage in gratuitous tail-wagging when casting magic attacks which is similarly difficult to take seriously.

the original version was only available on the sega game gear, not my favorite system, and came out too late to be incorporated into Shining Force cd, and only got an english translation via a 2010s era rom hack. However a unofficial remake "fan game" exists is more in line with the proper sega genesis style guide, at least where it is finished, and even just through the first battle it feels unfinished. I hope it makes the game better balanced but I'll be a monkey's bunkbed if I want to play through it again otherwise (i am not a monkey's bunkbed).
i could probably fill in the graphics that are obviously still placeholders from the game gear version, since the author seems to open to any random moron doing that and redrawing stuff at higher resolution is one of my oldest bad habits, but flarps I already have a problem with a lot of the graphics that AREN'T placeholders (like Knucko and Mishaela's weird mouths and Sonette's newly pigeon-toed battle pose despite neither the original sprite nor the concept art being like that) so I should probably stay away from it. I also have too many dumb "projects" already. Like drawing stupid garbage that NOBODY asked for.
