When You Are Forced to Start Over Chapter 2
So here is a new chapter of this story. I mentioned first chapters can seem hard to write. In that vain it feels like second chapters are slow and mostly filler. Maybe that’s not all first are and second chapters but just mine… I’m still working on the next installment of When You Find Yourself Take. That story is currently about a relationship in trouble, so it was nice to write about a relationship starting. My goal with this story is also to focus more on not just Eliot but also Henry growing and changing.

I would NOT call this a filler chapter! Eliot's friendship with Lia continues to grow, diapers have become a part of his wardrobe, and Henry is starting to embrace his new role in Eliot's life as a Dad. Also, his relationship with a certain snow leopardess is moving forward.

Your stories of regression are giving me a greater appreciation for another side of regression: allowing yourself to feel vulnerable but having someone you can trust with that vulnerability.
On another note, I have this idea that whatever magic caused Eliot’s regression is also helping to nudge out those parental instincts in Henry.
On the diaper side, I do find it interesting to see species- related commentary on it (which I incorporated into my own work).
Also, is it more common in this world for kids to still be in diapers at age 3 or 4?

In a way this is just yet another regression story by me which I guess is my thing lol. However, I wanted to explore a different relationship in that Eliot and Henry already knew each other. So there wasn't a building of trust but this existing relationship changing.
But yeah I think for me that is a major part of the abdl dynamic. I really enjoyed the conversations that Beth has talking to Sam in my other story When you Find Yourself taken. Basically Beth talking about her relationship with her big/wife and how its not about having a crush on her mom but just having a person that she is completely vulnerable and safe with.
I definitely want to explore some species stuff with Eliot feeling a bit less then compared to Henry who isnt just a regular cat but a tiger.
On the note of being in diapers at 3 or 4. I think there is some creative license that its not normal but also not worrying. Honestly I just don't want to slow the story down to have a doctor visit where they are just told everything is fine. It may be addressed in some exposition.

I’ve sort of allowed that sort of license too. Mainly that, aside from diapers, I’d rather do kid stuff than baby or toddler stuff.
