It's him, he's in the trees. This is his forest, the terrifying wolves and crocodiles are like pets for him, so he calls himself the 'Beastmaster' for he's the only one who can hold them in their place and knows them well.
Sometimes, he walks through the old and barren woods like a person, sometimes he flies between the tree tops and sometimes, he climbs them.

If this forest of old shattered hopes and dreams would still be lush and flourishing, this old guy wouldn't be so bitter, cold and distant.

I like to draw Don. Not only does he have a pretty unique design, I can also do so much stuff with him. Civilized poses like a formally behaving person, animalistic and even beasty, horror stuff, I can put him in the old industrial realm, on old rusty pipelines and warehouses, in the forest, on trees, even upside down because he can hang with his powerful claws. Just so much inspiration.
