Kaito loved exploring as a child, checking out areas in his anthro and feral forms. One day, he got hit by a car while in his anthro form and was forced back into his feral form. While being unconscious, he was taken to a vet and when his body was healed enough, given to a foster home. Waking up, he was confused as to why he was there and why he couldn't transform back.

"You're awake!" Kaito looked towards the voice, seeing Stella looking down at him. From the moment he saw her, he knew his life would never be the same. With the new name Axl, he spent years with the girls, becoming their official pet. Whenever they do something that he knows he shouldn't see or experience, he runs and hides to respect them. Even when he got the ability to transform again, he stayed, enjoying his time with them. Although he cares for Leilani and Alice a ton, he found himself sticking to Stella the most, even forming a crush on her.

He tries to find a good partner for her, while also at the same time terrifying anyone he deems unworthy with his anthro form. He sometimes visits Stella's dreams in his anthro form but knows that he can't ever let her know the real him without losing the life he has formed with them.

Stella has the nickname Squishy for him while Leilani and Alice call him Floofball as his nickname. Kaito lets the girls call him Fluffy. He refuses to listen to strangers if they try calling him by names his girls call him.
