why this weird outfit?
i found a really nice image of a rubber latex ball dress meme years ago, kind of sexy in it's own way haha.
Think they're actually called "latex ballgown" or ball dresses, not exactly sure though the tags confirm that much i suppose... 
it's somewhat rare to see these at least.
that image i found back then is also the one used as example for this as i found it in a lost folder on my hard drive prompting this...

in Saw where latex and magic both exist that means these suits are very real, but a uncommon (expensive) novelty for wealthy folks at best.
a practical variation from which this is based of off is a self pressurizing over-pressure environmental suit. similar to a spacesuit.

Someone sneakily replaced Deborah her teal swimsuit (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/57977449/) with this boobytrapped expanding enchanted latex edition.
it looks the same, feels the same if not a little bit heavier which she didn't notice, but when triggered it definitely is not the same.
she put it on as usual and then unknowingly got trapped in the ball shortly after.
the ball which is surprisingly strong, thick skinned and heavy achieved by absorbing quite a bit of energy which expands and inflates the material somewhat like an airbag.

the pranksters immediately took some Polaroid photos and had a good laugh with her afterwards.
i don't think Deborah was able to take it off that entire day until she finally figured out how it worked.
its also unlikely to get trashed as she does like tight outfits and it was a nice sweaty experience.

her entire lower body is completely trapped, the tail is wrapped inside following the curve of the ball, inside a cushioned sleeve back to front.
she can move with said ball by bouncing it like a skippy ball, but it's not fast, very sweaty and yes, she does float nicely like a buoy which also raised a good amount of laughs.
her legs and tail are not free to move inside the ball, but firmly held stuck inside tight cushioned tubes that form upon initial expansion, which make it require a lot of effort to actually move.

if one has enough practice and knowledge about the item one can inflate and deflate this tricky suit on their own with a little bit of magi energy to activate.
it's also easy to clean and expensive version (like hers) do feature some additional hygiene functions too.
