I realized that today is Pete's 100th Anniversary so I tried my hand in making this image with the rubber hose or ink blot version of Disney's iconic characters. Fortunately, I am using the 1928 version of Mickey Mouse that is in the Public Domain along with Pete. Besides that, it is a simple sketch really. I guess that Mickey has given his boss Captain Pete a gift as a token of his respect towards his boss for driving a riverboat correctly, that is why he uses the thinnest string and a small reusable box at the last minute for this present.
