A denizen hailing from a now-destroyed land or world. Having survived an end of an age, Other has "seen beyond the veil" or rather, started to see and understand past established custom, formality, and bureaucracy. Honestly, that could be entirely made up.

She follows a moral code that she herself admits is "bullshit" and "stupid to have these days" and occasionally hypocritically ignores; but can't stand a life without holding herself to some manner of standards, even if nobody else would know why they have to hold themselves to it.

Yes, themselves. Whatever happened, something inside "Other" broke and now there are several of them, as well as a few mental passengers called "headmates".

Has a surprising amount of knowledge in plenty of fields and is always learning, views specialization warily. Typically listens and mostly only speaks to shitpost, leading to acquired knowledge coming off as a surprise. Also has a horrendous skill curve, with early strong gains, a painfully long stagnant period, and good high end just maybe not worth the wait. Has little confidence but is learning that, too. Pretends to be self-sufficient on occasion but knows her limits and always comes home.

Interests include Casual Shapeshifting, occasional trainspotting, the mail, cars, learning cool new interesting things, tech and aesthetics of the 1990s and 2000s, and sleep. There's more but that's probably enough for you to realize she's a little off her rockers and embraces it.
