Unfortunately, the doubles match ended in a crushing score of 4-7, 5-4, 6-3 and 7-6 for the trio of princesses who could do nothing to beat Bowser and his son, who formed an all-too-powerful duo reinforced by their evil magic, even the power of Rosalina's cosmos could do nothing to give them the edge.
They were therefore forced to be bound/gagged from a distance by the Koopalings in the stadium stands who used black magic to neutralize them while depriving Rosalina of her powers.
