Callin it now: Strix has big plans to use Jag somehow, probably to try and fuse with him or fuse Jag with Angel. I'm guessing he'll succeed in kidnapping Jag, but the fusion won't work right. If not, than obviously Jimmy will rescue him.

If I'm right, don't let that stop you! A "predictable" plot is also a SENSIBLE plot! Wild swerves in stories will make the reader go "Well why the fuck did THAT happen?" And you don't want that!

(I also could be way off base. Which is fine too! I like to fancy myself a mind-reader, but I know my track record on that is hit-and-miss at best.)

Strix definitely wants a piece of Jag, but he can't quite resort to kidnapping since that would get him fired. :U

Can he GET fired? Isn't it his own work that produced their crazy demon computer thing? If they try to fire him, it looks like he could have Angel pull some pretty nasty revenge on his behalf.

Well, "fired" in the Agency's case tends to mean having to face Saskia's wrath. And even Strix isn't crazy enough to wanna invite the kind of mindcrush she would hand out.
