Still hate spiders, and the the bigger they are, the more they seem to prove how ridiculously wimpy us humans really are. BUT. this spider is beautiful.

I think I've actually seen this spider before... I mean obviously not in person, but like, I think I read about it before.

I remember thinking how scarily huge it was, but also how pretty it's legs and back were.
And I'd probably hold it if it didn't have the tendency to bite... I tried holding a spider once, and it bit my thumb. Stung for like 3 days.

What spider did you hold?

Not sure... he was a little guy. But he got in my house and my mother freaked out, and at the time, I was all sorts of into picking up insects, so... I tried to grab it and cup my hand to take it outside without it getting away... bad mistake. It wanted out of my hand, so it chomped my thumb. And even though he was tiny, that bite stung like a BITCH. For three whole days. >:C

Oh i see. Sounds like the spiders venom may have been a lil toxic ><

So he pretty much poisoned me...? fffffff I am going too go thank my mom for getting me bit and poisoned now. :C

Its a he XD sorry just noticed i got the sex wrong there x3 yea the Female is just a boring blackish colour. He is a much more beautiful colour ^^

Despite finding lots of critters cute that most folks don't like, such as snakes, I'm still a little too creeped out by giant spiders to want one as a pet. But dang, that is one really gorgeous pattern that spider has.

I took a seat out of a truck to try to cath one like that it was cool looking but he must of eacaped with out me seeing him.

Well all the male are intrested in is a mate x3 so the males do go walk abouts looking for the female.

I just hate to think that somebody probley lost their spider and it found its way out of the house.

Depends where you live if you are near Ecuador then you may see a male searching for its mate. I would kill to see this, im stuck in shitty England. I would Love to have a tarantula as just a regula house spider. I dont even get normal house spiders wher i live. i hate it =/ i live in a town, i use to live in the county where the perants was beating house spiders outa the house XD

ok i HATE spiders but that is cool but, if i see one i grab shit to through at it.... i think i got it from my mom she almost drove into the ditch when one crawled onto roof over her head in that car... or it may be that over 1/2 the times i have seen a spider it had just jumped from nowhere onto my head :/

anyway sorry for ramble about why i'm posting :P LOVE the colors on that thing.... would never get in 10 feet of it but still lovely

Yeah I know. I can live with that x3 But you know. I want pretty spiders :D The females are just brown and big, but not pretty (as in colorfull) looking ^^
