I had to do a map before I could write my characters actually deparing from Enos. :3 My first foray into mapmaking, and dear god, do I suck at it...
Read it (it's still an unfinished first draft, but the PDF updates every 3 days).

Well you can't expect to every detail on the island. So in maps like these it's best to use symbols or extremely simple shapes anybody could recognize.
For me....I don't know how I'm going to do that of where it can be on a 3D scale lol.
How'd you do the clouds btw :P~

A writing generator, a shit-ton of time going through hundreds of potential names and mixing up a few of them when I liked one syllable but not another. :)

They have place name generators there, but I actually used the Fantasy Name generator for most of my places.

Virandene is actually in a bad state of disrepair... ;3 Someone (accidentally? or on purpose?) set fire to one of the homes and the resulting blaze nearly killed everyone. They are still putting their lives back together... :( But it's a lovely place to live, anyway. <3
I never had, either ;3 But I didn't think I could pull it off as simply as a sketch the way
divinefox09 did above. X3 You could try that first.

It's actually a pretty small "world". :D The rest is covered by water but I believe there are other lands out there. The people of Ibion just haven't been able to explore it all yet (I believe the sea gets choppy and impassable just outside of Ibion, thanks to divine intervention -- but don't quote me on that ;).
Sort of like mine, in a way. The main city is near inhabitable, but it's the best anyone can do with countless miles of harsh and lifeless desert around it. There's maybe one ghost town out there, but no one's been able to get much further than that. Flight is impossible due to massive fallout generations ago, leaving radioactive and electro-magnetic particles everywhere... Vehicles fail at less than thirty feet. The only way people know there is life outside Radio City is because a few transmissions come in from across the world. Essentially, my Ghost Makers novel takes place here on Earth long after WWIII has done its irreversable damage. It's a very barren planet, indeed.
