Becoming a Sage as a magic-user in my story is akin to class evolution in some of the games, though not with the branching choices. It’s kind of a big deal, though as with Phoenix being freed from the lamp, still too soon to happen within the story. If I didn’t make it clear, it requires making contact with the Benevodon of one’s element and passing a difficult test.
