Willard Annigan -
CranburrofSoda
(Apologies if details are a bit rough)
Age: 51
Height: 5'9"
Personality: Stubborn, egotistical, brash, serious, grouchy, preachy, unyielding, unwavering, sometimes unintentionally goofy, assumably insane (sometimes), devoted, determined.
Likes: The Moonlight Goddess Ayla. Spreading her wisdom. Experimenting with spells and magic. Reading (especially Moon Goddess based books). His hat. Fish pie. Baked sweets like sweet rolls.
Dislikes: Heretics. Worshippers of the Abyssal Gods. People who speak ill of his Goddess. His travel companions annoying him. Losing his hat, or having it stolen. Being reminded of his bald spot. Being called old. His staff not working right. Being asked pointless questions. Repeating himself. Wearing heavy, cumbersome armour. The mage slaying crusader stuck in his head.
1. The Wizard who wizards
Willard Annigan, a (supposedly) mighty moonlight sorcerer! An adept wizard who practices the spellcraft of moonlight magic, passed down by those under the Moon Gods' teachings. Who's devotion and praise towards Ayla, the Goddess of Moonlight remains admirable, even while his travel companions brush off his preaches, or joke mockingly about his obsession with the Moon Goddess.
2. Equipment
Equiped with his old mage robes and hat, along with armour and a sword made from moonsilver, and a slightly cracked moonsilver stone staff. Holding a crystal orb imbued with moonlight magic.
And finally, his trusty spellbook of the Moon Gods, filled with spells, history of the Moon Gods and knowledge passed down by Ayla herself! Protected with a moonsilver cover protector, handy for smacking the heads of heretics (And his companions when they badmouth him or his Goddess)!
3. Bald spot
He tends to almost always wear his weathered hat, due to a miscasted spell, thanks to some of his travel "buddies" distracting him while attempting to cast. Causing an explosion which burned the hair off the top of his head, scarring his head and giving him a permanent bald spot. Which said companions sometimes joking around about his predicament.
4. Banishment
Once of House Artem since the day he was born, but banished around the age of 37, for performing a risky ritual without supervision of a high ranking house wizard, along with his erratic behaviour after said ritual. This ritual nearly destroying the whole room and collapsing part of the academy building.
Yet, his devotion to the Moonlight Goddess Ayla remains ever strong! Though he still faces ridicule by Artem moon sorcerers, some even demanding him to remove the emblem on his hat.
As the emblem placed ever nicely around his hat is of House Artem, he was asked to remove it at the time of his banishment, but ran away with it, and bundles of his personal notes and scrolls. And to this day, he still wears it out of spite against the House, claiming that HE is a true disciple of the Moon God of Sorcery and the Goddess of Moonlight! (Especially the Moonlight Goddess!)
5. The Crusader
Alas, he is plagued by an unwanted companion, one of which appeared to him unintentionally when he performed the ritual which caused his banishment from House Artem. A Crusader from a bygone age, he and his fellow knighthood had slaughtered many mages and witches alike, until the Moon God of Sorcery appeared. Confronting the knighthood for killing his servants and worshippers, he would incinerate the bodies of the crusaders, then force their spirits to forever roam the world.
Incapable of interacting or influencing the lands around them, forever to remain isolated in death.. Except for one, the very crusader who is now bound to Willard, with the stubborn, short tempered wizard being the only one who can see and hear him. And to this day, remains a great pessimistic annoyance for the moonlight sorcerer, always at each others throats! While both are incapable of committing violence or any physical contact with each other.
Oh woe is Willard! For we may never know if he will be rid of this wizard hating knight! Oh well, it be his problem. xD
6. Companionship
In the current time, Willard Annigan remains in the company of a group of misfit adventurers. Wondering the lands, accepting jobs and quests, while facing many perils! All while being great annoyances and a pain in the arse towards each other!
May we see where this journey goes for Ramona the Steel Knight, Brina the Tundra Barbarian, Robbie Quickfingers, Gullona the Gluttonous Berserker, and finally and most importantly (to Willard), Willard Annigan! Wielder of the Moons!!
