The football game Nessa was watching was well underway. Especially since it was Valentine's Day. However, even though this was the day where couples would go out with each other or others just wearing something and celebrating the day just for the day, Nessa was the type of individual who would slap on any clothing that had a heart on it, sit on the couch, watch football, and call it a day. After all, Nessa wasn't the type of girl who would do anything fancy for Valentine's Day. So just doing the bare minimum was more than enough for her. But as Nessa continued to watch the football game, an unexpected tail sneakily dipped into the popcorn bowl she had been snacking on. When she looked to her left, she saw herself. More specifically, her Neko self.


Nessa: Really? You're gonna use your tail? Just use your hand like everyone else.


Nessa (Neko) : Awww. Come now. Why go out of my way to move when my tail can do it for me?


Nessa: Probably because you're spilling popcorn all over the couch!


Nessa (Neko) : That's just a small amount. We'll clean it up when the game's over.


Nessa: That's not the point! If you use your hands there wouldn't be any mess to begin with! Am I really this lazy on a day like-


????: Nessa? Who are you talking to?


Snapping out of her conversation, Nessa looked behind her. Not hearing the front door to her penthouse opening, she saw David. But as she saw him, she could only see him look at her with concern and confusion. When she looked back to the other end of the couch, it was completely empty. There was nobody there. Only herself.


Nessa: Uhhh.......nobody?


David: Okay? Because it sounded like a complete conversation there. Are you sure you're alright?


Nessa didn't know what to say. How could she say she was talking to her other self? Let alone sound like she wasn't losing it?


Nessa: I......I think I've just been a little homesick......

Looking back, I am really surprised that I haven't uploaded anything with Nessa throughout all of 2024. And even crazier to see that I haven't put up anything of her in almost 2 years XD . Then again, there have been a lot of things going on ;) . But it does seem like Nessa may be starting to lose it. That or having one of those moments you talk to yourself when nobody is around. But who can say. Though it really does show she doesn't care much for Valentine's Day. Which I can admit, I am that way to an extent. But mostly due to always being stuck at work on that day XD .
