AWESOME Movie.
What song? Love will Tear Us Apart?, or perhaps something from TFF?
You know, on that day (as depicted in the movie), I was in a werewolf costume of my own making, hanging out in Hollywood with some Kiwis and other friends. That was my first "fursuit" I guess you could say.
That movie holds a lot of meaning for me...I cry my eyes out every time I see it, especially during the scene played out to the remake of "Mad World"...in my mind, it shows how Donnie affected the lives of those around him and how in doing so, he sacrificed himself. To me, that makes a true hero; albeit a tragic one.

Indeed, Donnie Darko made quite an impact on me as well!
The music would be "Slipping Away"; that creepy throbbing music that played when frank was around, like when donnie tried stabbing at the mirror. I really love that music...
I cry too. It's funny, I grew to dislike Mad World because it was played so much (and some folks I knew would reference lyrics at really lame moments) except in the movie. When I hear it in the movie... yeah, it makes me tear up...
It's a tragedy, admittedly, that's part of why I like it so much. It's not a werewolf story but, I think I'm drawn to a good tragedy because there's something inherently tragic about werewolves.
