Just a lion nommin' on a hot bowl of ramen this nice shoreside evening. The rich tingle of various flavors bursting against the tongue as waves crash ashore nearby, bursting into a cool refreshing mist that eases away the day's energetic warmth. There’s no need for words to describe the deliciousness of the bowl’s contents. A lion’s delightful expression and deep purrs of enjoyment with each bite being more than enough. But even he’ll say such a delicacy along with this incredible setting is still missing something. Something of a dessert maybe? A question he’ll respond to with an affirming nod as he places more of those golden noodles on his tongue. Spurring a follow-up question of what kind of dessert? He then responds without any hesitation, not a word escaping his maw that's occupied with savoring more of those perfect flavors. Rather scooting over a little to leave extra room on his comfy beanbag. A move punctuated with an inviting series of pats to the open space on the chair’s soft surface. Once sat beside and fully adjusted, sinking slightly into the beanbag, your lap is suddenly graced by a comforting warmth. Finding the bowl of tasty magic now resting against you. Nostrils massaged by the hypnotic combination of the salty sea air and the ramen’s own mixture of heavenly scents. Only an appetizer for you, before being bombarded by the incredible mix of flavors that spurs a joyful jolt from that first bite. Sparking a giggle in the lion, amused by the reaction that the ramen caused him not too long before.

That first bite creates such a burst of energy and elation, yet you find yourself soothed and calmed by the cradling embrace of the rhythmic ocean breeze. Almost like Mother Nature wants you both to just enjoy it all while cradled in a blanket of serene peace. Allowing a true embrace of the beautiful harmony between the delicious taste and the magical setting. Soon that question comes up again, what kind of dessert did the lion have in mind? You'd only notice him glancing at you for a brief second before finding his tuft of blue tail fur gently brushing across your face in a playful manner. Before he rolls his eyes with a soft smile and takes a deep inhale of the salty coastal air to punctuate his answer.

Sure, the passage of time will eventually bring such an experience to an end. But a thought dismissed by the lion and hopefully you as well. Too busy enjoying the moment as it is, soon strolling down the path of a colorful conversation about various things between past adventures, future endeavors, and much more. With shared laughter sprinkled in here and there. Only a brief pause to watch that special moment the sun kisses the golden horizon. A moment so powerful the sky remains a spectacular canvas of orange and a dark blue fading to black for a good while after. But this doesn't serve as an end. As the stars come out to play, doing their familiar dance among each other across the night sky above, the conversation continues. Going all sorts of directions with more laughter sprinkled in. The thought of ordering more ramen crossing the minds every so often but always fading as your minds are pulled back to some story. Well that and the nearby tide's peaceful song that makes you want to stay here forever. But after a few more hours have passed, that time to call it a night arrives. Spurred on by those twinges of sleepiness that begin to gain strength as the minutes tick by. A friendly wave exchanged then parting ways, but both taking away a treasure chest of new ideas and stories to embrace and share with others. Along with sharing this new ramen spot as the cherry on top... ✨
