Finally! The good stuff! Since I’ve built up quite a buffer, I’m posting an entire chapter.
Planet Mongo invades the solar system. Ming delivers the ultimatum, “Surrender or Die!” While the Earth rocks in confusion, Flash delivers her counter ultimatum at the UN, “DEATH TO MING!” Her UN representative reveals that Professor Gruber’s project was not the only secret Nazi project in Tetooni and Tetooni has secrets of its own.
After receiving a talisman that reveals Atuna really is Flash’s mother, Flash sets off on her daring solo attack on Mongo, shouting “Death to Ming!”
A hastily convened meeting is called in the White House, The President demands to know how the US can retaliate against Ming.
Not happy with the answers, he orders that a project be started immediately, called Operation Iron Hammer, threatening martial law. Other nations have similar discussions.
Meanwhile, Flash is stealthily approaching Mongo by slingshotting the powered down Rhino Horn around the Sun.
The battle is engaged! After taking down Mongo’s defensive shield, Flash wreaks havoc on Ming’s battle fleets and space bases. But her assault on Ming’s Capital is thwarted and her ship destroyed. How will Flash survive her last ditch attempt against Ming?
Raging about the assault on Mongo, Ming broadcasts his fury to Mongo as he sits in judgment of those he deems responsible. Sensing that Flash is still alive, he orders her brought to him from the Mountain of madness where she crashed.
A badly injured Flash revives to find herself helplessly trapped underground, sealed in stone as strange beings perform an arcane ceremony that summons a dragon.
Having passed the telepathic examination with Utha, Flash is healed by the molemen, and called Destroyer, the Death of Ming.
She is swiftly taken to the molemen’s kingdom, to evade Ming’s troops and the madness Utha will spawn.
Who are the strange, inhuman companions of the molemen?
Flash is given a new uniform and brought to the mole King’s castle.
But all is not as it seems when Flash arrives. Is Rassa a ghost?
Flash meets with the king of the molemen, who is protected by the Stones of Delusion.
He gifts her with a new set of armor, and makes preparations for her to meet the rebel forces once the now insane minions of Ming and their detection devices are cleared from the molemen’s tunnels.
The way clear, Flash sets out on the shuttle journey to the Swamp of Doom where the rebel base is hidden. Suddenly, the shuttle plummets.
