The snake enters a food coma from how full Gib is from the food. Beary sees how tired the snake is and offers to carry him back to his bed. Gib agrees to hold onto Beary before he enters a deep sleep due to the food he ate. It was difficult at first, but with the right adjustments, Beary could carry Gib with no issues, not even the extra weight slowed him down.
