I always wondered why the Nazis looked at Argentina and said "Perfect! Mach schnell!" I mean, isn't Latin America full of non-aryan types?

I guess they STILL have an enclave in Latin America. I remember a magazine running a story about "The world's most evil man," a former Nazi with an eerie resemblance to Wallace Shawn. Apparently he started his own commune and was, uh, taking liberties with the young boys in it. Not exactly the pillar of the community.

Definitely Paul Schafer, who died last year while serving his sentence over the child abuse charges, by the way. He established his commune over here in Chile, so I'm pretty familiar with the case. To add to his already extensive rap sheet, this commune was used as a detention and torture center during our very own military dictatorship during the 70s, and he may have been personally involved in the disappearance of some political activists during this time.

One last factoid on this bastard, way back when the child abuse accusations were filed back in the mid-90s, Schafer wound up fleeing the country. He was eventually found several years later hiding in
