Riptide a Water/Steel type Samurott.



Riptide is the result of a Pokemon scientist trying to recreate the Hisuian Samurott. This scientist created a large environmental enclosure that they thought mimicked the conditions during the Hisuian Era. Their goal was to try revive/create the Hisuian Samurott, if successful the possibly or bringing back other extinct Pokemon would be a step closer, but instead they ended up discovering/making a new variant.



Riptide is very aggressive and prefers to be alone than fight along side other's, its unknown if this is a trait of the variant or just the nature of the Pokemon it's self. So far the scientist hasn't had any other Dewott evolve into this variant, so further tests are being done but they are hoping that this wasn't a 'One-Off' and that their onto some new discovery when it comes to Pokemon evolution.
